My mum Aileen Cowie (mum passed away in May '22) and Evelyn were life long friends. And visited her many times in Largs until she was too ill to travel. She told me of the many adventures her and Evelyn got up to in their young days. My thoughts go out to Simon at this upsetting time. But please know she was very much loved by my mum. Elaine x
